Clarke Farms Pool Rules (revised 06/19/06) 1) Pool hours - the pool is open for use between the hours of 10:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m. daily, and only when lifeguard is present. 2) Children 9 years or younger must be supervised at all times by an adult, age 16 or older. Children 10 through 13 must demonstrate an ability to swim (to be at the lifeguard's discretion) or must be supervised at all times by an adult, age 18 or older. 3) Diapers, whether cloth or disposable, must be covered with rubber pants. 4) Persons having infectious diseases, open sores, cuts or recent vaccinations are not permitted in the pool area. 5) No alcoholic beverages are allowed in the pool area. 6) Food and candy are restricted to perimeter areas. GLASS OBJECTS ARE NOT PERMITTED IN THE POOL AREA AT ANY TIME. 7) No tobacco products are allowed on the pool grounds (including cabana entrance). 8) Trash shall be disposed of in appropriate containers. 9) Bicycles, tricycles, skateboards, roller skates, scooters, big wheels etc., are not allowed in the swimming pool area. 10) Pets are not allowed in the swimming pool area. Pets may not be tied to the fence surrounding pool. 11) HORSEPLAY, RUNNING, SPITTING, UN-DUE SPLASHING, AND EXCESSIVE NOISE ARE NOT ALLOWED. Swimmers are not to play or hang on swim lane ropes. 12) Pool toys are allowed at the lifeguard's discretion. 13) Loud radios or cassette players are not allowed. 14) No rafts may be used. 15) DIVING IS ALLOWED FROM THE DIVING BOARD ONLY. ALL OTHER DIVING IS NOT ALLOWED. 16) All swimmers must wear swimming attire - no cut-offs or shorts allowed. Pool members and guest must also have swimming attire on in the pool area unless it is an adult, age 18 or older, supervising a child in the pool. 17) Children, age 5 and under, using the baby pool must be supervised by an adult at all times. Only children, age 5 and under, are allowed in the baby pool. 18) Owners must be current in the payment of association assessments before they will be permitted to register and use the pool. 19) The lifeguards have total authority in regard to control of persons using the pool. In the case of large groups, the lifeguards reserve the right to enforce a ratio of 1 adult to 7 children if inappropriate behavior is displayed. They also have the right and obligation to close the pool whenever the conditions or weather presents a hazard. 20) Reserving the pool for private parties will be arranged with the pool management. ANYONE WHO VIOLATES THESE RULES MAY HAVE POOL PRIVILEGES SUSPENDED FOR WHATEVER PERIOD IS DEEMED APPROPRIATE BY THE LIFEGUARD, MANAGER OR CLARKE FARMS BOARD OF DIRECTORS. |
